I had refrained from buying this game ever since i tried it, i just couldn't get used to the control schemes. However, last week i decided to take the risk of just buying it and trying again, $4.99 wasn't going to kill me. I'm glad i bought it, after a year or more, it seems i was able to get used to the controls and play the game just fine. The story was intriguing, but unfortunately not as deep as other games, say...Uncharted, but i'm still intrigued to find out more about the Chimera. The FPS gameplay was not exceptional...pretty much everything has already been done, but it remained fun. The weapon selection was pretty good and every weapon had an alternate fire which was interesting in keeping things varied. The graphics were great too, this is probably the best looking launch title on PS3 as it was lacking that "rubbery look" most games from this generation had (Uncharted suffered from this which was very annoying).
It's not the best game out there, but for $4.99 it was very enjoyable and i'm set up for the sequel which hopefully has online co-op and trophies :D
